PowerGrow Inc. is honored to announce we are partnering with Bloom Energy to deploy their Bloom Energy Fuel Cells under our PowerGrow PPA program for our greenhouse growers. PowerGrow plans to deploy over 40 MW of Fuel Cells across our portfolio of greenhouse projects being developed in Texas, Alabama, Virginia and Boston.
Bloom Energy’s fuel cells generate electricity via an electrochemical reaction rather than combustion, so they already avoid emitting the harmful air pollutants that come with burning fuel.
Bloom’s platform captures a pure stream of CO2 that we can inject into the greenhouses to improve plant growth and covert that CO2 into oxygen. By doing this we are able to develop Zero Carbon greenhouse facilities and create a more sustainable agriculture environment for our world. https://www.bloomenergy.com
